There are many ways you can help preserve, protect and promote the Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument from one-time to recurring volunteer opportunities for youth, families, groups and individuals.

From helping with advocacy, education, greeting visitors and outreach to trail maintenance or serving as a trail host, there are opportunities for almost everyone: kids and young adults, retirees, professionals, corporate teams, students, community service organizations, and individuals and groups in search of meaningful outdoor stewardship projects.

If you like people and want to help, the Friends of Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument needs your time and talents.

Please fill out the form below telling us a little bit about yourself and your interests. A volunteer coordinator will be in touch with you soon!
